"One evening in Cape Town I had been invited to one of those parties where everyone was amusing and entertaining.  There was a poet, a film-maker, a philosophy professor, a publisher, an artist, a musician; about fifteen people, all of them friends, sipping cocktails on the terrace at sundowner time, and celebrating the film-maker's birthday.  It was a bright, unselfconscious, relaxed gathering...  And the sunset was sensational, too!   [Rafael Santini]
